Food for thought

With the great British weather ducking and diving as usual it can be difficult to know if you are coming or going, should you pack the sun block or the brolly...probably both to be sure eh!

Well, there is one man who certainly knows where he is going, freelance chef Steven Cooke. Digiphotoworks Photography has teamed up with Steven to capture professional images of his monthly recipe submissions to the Mid Sussex Handbook. Based in the heart of Mid Sussex, Steven supplies freelance executive chefery and consultancy services amongst others.

July's recipe, Tayberry and Tarragon Compote, looked stunning in reality and I hope you will agree that was captured in the images!
One thing is for sure, it tasted out of this world. If ever there was a good reason to invite a chef into a photographic studio, this amazing dessert was it!

The complete gallery of images for your consumption, feel free to leave a comment against any image

I can't wait to learn what is on the plate next month. Whatever it is, you'll see it here soon enough...just wish I could share the flavour with you too, guess you should head over to Steve's site and get the recipe, or if you are local to Haywards Heath keep an eye out for the monthly recipe in the Mid Sussex Handbook.
